Welcome to Zimba, a creative storytelling app designed for kids and parents to co-create animated stories using voice and imagination. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when using our mobile application and website (https://zimba.fun).

• Voice Recordings: The app records voice input provided by the user to generate images and build the final story. These recordings are transmitted to our servers and securely stored to allow rendering and playback.
• Generated Media: Images created by the AI and user-generated videos are stored on our servers so they can be accessed and replayed later by the user.
• Speech-to-Text Processing: We use OpenAI’s API to convert voice input to text. Audio is temporarily shared with OpenAI solely for processing purposes.
• Anonymized Usage Data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized behavioral data, such as session duration and feature usage, to help improve the app experience.

2. No Collection of Personal Identifiable Information (PII)

Zimba does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as name, email, address, or contact details. We do not create user accounts, nor do we require or store personal data for identification purposes.

3. Children’s Privacy

Zimba is designed to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Our app can be safely used by children under 13 with parental supervision. All collected data is used solely to enable the app’s features and is not shared for marketing or profiling.

• Generating story content using AI (OpenAI APIs)
• Enabling playback and export of user-created stories
• Improving app functionality through aggregated, anonymized analytics

Audio and visual content are stored securely on our servers to support story playback. We retain this data as long as it's needed to provide our service. You may request deletion at any time by contacting our support team.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers:

• OpenAI: For image generation and speech-to-text. Audio data is sent temporarily for processing and not stored by OpenAI.
• Google Analytics: For collecting anonymized behavioral data to improve user experience. No personal information is collected or stored.
